Commission stages
1. Please provide a non-shaded reference sheet and any additional details.
Once those have been approved, I will begin working as soon as possible.
Deadlines can be discussed if needed.2. During the sketch/model mockup phase, you are allowed to ask for changes and edits with no cost reasonably.
After this stage, any edits will incur extra cost depending on complexity.
Payment will be required after the sketch/model mockup is sent.3. I will then continue to provide updates with WIPs for lineart, color and shading, or for 3D, sculpting, texturing and pre-render.4. The finished piece will be either sent via Instagram/Discord (or emailed to you in a higher quality image format)
My usual turnaround time for digital art is about a week, however for 3D models this can vary greatly depending on the size.
By commissioning me, NeonWave, you read and agree to be bound by all the terms listed below. Failure to abide by the Terms of Service may result in a cancelled order with or without a refund, and/or a blacklist.General
- I have the right to not take on an order I deem are outside of my ability to create, not comfortable with the order details, or any other reason without explanation.- All my 3D models are created from scratch, and do not use any pre-made models. The exception to this are the YCHs, but the base models are still made by me.- Communication will be done via Instagram or Discord.- Please be respectful throughout the commissioning process. If your behaviour becomes unprofessional at any stage, I will cancel and refund your order (depending on the stage, see Payment and Refunds)- Credit me as @iridescentcatto (you could also link any of the social media sites in this website), when using the commissioned artwork (such as a profile picture) or uploading on social media.Payment and Refunds
- All commission prices are in USD, and payment will be sent via PayPal after the sketch/model mockup has been approved. Upfront payment is optional.- If you decide to cancel the commission for whatever reason, you will receive a 50% refund if the commission is in the sketch/ model mockup stage. There will be no refund in any stage past that.
- You will not receive any files of the commission after cancellation.- If I have to cancel your order for whatever reason, I will refund you fully and provide a file of whatever progress the order has reached.- If you are unsatisfied with the final commission piece, I am willing to discuss and make minor edits (up to 2). Any major edits (whole piece recolor, different pose) will not be accepted.Image Rights
- Commissioned artwork is for personal use only, not commercial. If you would like to use my art commercially, you will be charged more than the regular price. Prices will be discussed and are negotiable.- You cannot claim the commission as your own work, whether or not edits were made to the piece. Vice versa, I do not claim ownership of the characters portrayed within the artwork, as they belong to their respective creator(s).- You will automatically allow the commissioned art to be used as an art example/posted on social media unless you opt out beforehand.- I do not use AI in any shape or form for inspiration or in any step of the art creation process. Please refrain from feeding any of my artwork, commissioned or not, into AI/NFTs or use them to make any edits or changes.
